    A Wanderlight is not like an ordinary candle. These are the differences:

    Burning

    • With a normal candle the wick burns out. Soot that is released disappears into the air.
    • With a Wanderlight the wick runs above the flame. Soot adheres to this, which has the advantage that it does not enter the air in the room.

    Maintenance

    It is advisable to regularly remove soot from the wick. If the soot build-up in or above the flame becomes too large, too much heat will radiate downwards, causing the candle to melt too quickly and overflow.
