A Wanderlight is no ordinary candle. These are the differences:
Burn
With a Wanderlight the wick runs above the flame. Soot adheres to this, which has the advantage that it does not become airborne.
Everything on the candles burns out: any edges of candle wax that remain can be cut away and placed back in small pieces around the wick.
Maintenance
It is advisable to regularly remove soot from the wick and trim the edges to extend the burning time.
