With the provocative question ‘can a candle hang by its wick?’ designer Paulien Berendsen started searching for a unique, sustainable and inspiring design.
Together with Dutch companies she developed an innovative wick that never burns out and a special wax for the candles.
Every part of a Wanderlight, such as the hanging tools and the ceramic discs, is made with love and attention in collaboration with local companies.
To keep your Wanderlight hanging straight, it is important to always add enough candles under the ceramic disc as a counterweight. The top of your Wanderlight is top-heavy because this is where the glass cylinder, the candle and the ceramic disc all hang.
