Between 2020 and 2023, designer and entrepreneur Paulien Berendsen developed a unique collection of floating designer candles: Wanderlights. A combination of design, craftsmanship, and the magic of light.
In 2025, the concept took on a new, meaningful purpose. Driven by the desire to continue honoring a loved one in a personal and stylish way, a unique collection of urns was created. Each Wanderlight Urn features a subtle compartment in which a symbolic amount of a loved one’s ashes can be kept.

Woven Wanderlight URN
For this special urn, we drew inspiration from the dreamy macramé creations of artist Rianne Aarts. For Wanderlights, she created a unique product by wrapping soft cotton thread around a symbolic amount of ashes. A design that both amazes and offers comfort.
Sterrenstoff Wanderlight URN
Drawing on their craftsmanship and passion, Elke and Hella of Studio Sterrenstoff created a porcelain urn for Wanderlights. Carefully cast, finished, and fired multiple times, this urn is a durable and subtly designed object that offers a space for remembrance and comfort.
Dome Wanderlight URN
The rounded shape of the Dome Wanderlight Urn evokes feelings of shelter and security. A symbolic amount of a loved one’s ashes is carefully incorporated into the concrete, so that the memory is literally woven into the form.
